Our History

Llewellyn Management, LLC, formerly Llewellyn Realty, Inc., a real estate company dealing in residential and commercial sales and leasing and management, was created in 1949 by Elsie C. Llewellyn and John Crawford Llewellyn.  After Mr. Llewellyn's death, Elsie ran the company until her son, Jack Llewellyn, returned from the war in 1945.  From that point, Jack and Elsie Llewellyn developed residential and commercial properties including West Vickery Heights, Sherwood Forest in Forest Hills, Forest Hill Circle commercial sites and many other commercial and residential developments within the city of Fort Worth.

J. Carter Llewellyn, now managing broker, joined the firm in 1970 after graduating from South Texas College of Law.  He has served on many city and private boards, including the City Board of Adjustment and the Metropolitan YMCA Board, while practicing real estate law and serving as an Escrow Officer and Fee Attorney for Alamo Title.

The Llewellyn family also owns and manages a ranching operation in Baylor County, Texas.  John Carter Llewellyn, Jr. represents the fifth generation to run this ranch.  He is now actively selling farm and ranch properties and heading up the sales operation of Llewellyn Management, LLC, both residential and commercial.
